Course Pathway & Outcome:
The aim of this course is to introduce and develop the knowledge base of interested persons into the Caravan and Holiday Park Industry through a course structure that blends practical skills and theory based learning. It is also suitable for those already working in the industry wanting to take the next step towards management.
Every learning pathway will provide new skills that will complement your current skill set.
Achieving your Goals:
This course has been designed with both practical and theory elements and to achieve successful outcomes, you will be required to complete learning through online assignments, classroom sessions and practical hands on and work based delivery.
Practical classroom and work based learning environments will be delivered in central state locations and based in caravan/holiday parks – you will need to stay at, learn about and participate in park operations. Schedules for learning will be flexible and can be adjusted around your current work commitments.
This delivery of theory and practical knowledge and skills will take 26 weeks in your own time. During this time you are encouraged to find or volunteer for work in a holiday park close to your home. This will assist with practical application of your studies. We may be able to assist with this element.
For this course to have successful outcomes there are 3 compulsory periods of face to face contact (8 days in total) with the trainers to ensure that all theory provided via your assignments can be applied in a working environment. This will also allow the trainers to complete some of the required assessments.
